The painting House of the Undertaker from the Nordic Town Houses series in a Christmas card version. The card comes with the a verse from the Bible:
Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. Isaiah 9:6.
In the 1990's the artist developed a fascination for what he called nordic town houses. He had long discussions with his architect friend about the genuine architecture of the old town houses in Scandinavia, particularly Norway and Sweden.
