Artist's Description

The Smoker is an oil painting inspired by the thought that nicotine may have a major impact on the innovative parts of the brain. When man became a smoker on daily basis, we got the industrial revolution. Maybe one can't expect great scientific results from non-smoking scientists? Don't take the pipe from Einstein, the cigarette from Oppenheimer and the cigar from Edison...NASA back on tobacco!

The painting shows a smoking woman in a white mohair turtleneck.
